Testing Electrician (suit recently qualified sparky)

We are seeking a qualified electrician or fourth year apprentice to join our production and testing team, to wire switchboards and perform functional factory testing on a wide range of projects.

Suit recently qualified sparky with an interest in learning more about industrial electrical.

Come and join a team of highly experienced and intelligent sparkies & engineers who will share their knowledge and learn with you on a wide range of interesting applications and projects.

Industrial Electrician (PLC testing)

We are seeking an experienced industrial electrician with several years experience in PLC & HMI programming, testing and commissioning of electrical control systems, particularly in the water treatment industry.

Come and join a team of highly experienced and intelligent engineers who will share their knowledge and learn with you on a wide range of interesting applications and projects.

May involve occasional interstate travel for onsite commissioning.

Successful candidate will have:

  • A-Grade electrical licence and/or electrical engineering degree
  • Several years experience in industrial electrical and industrial automation
  • Passion for continued learning
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic – ability to maintain a fast and consistent pace
  • Enjoy travelling
  • Willing to work alone on sites around Australia

Job Details:

This role will include the following:

  • Factory Acceptance Testing of electrical switchboards, particularly PLC boards
  • PLC & HMI fault-finding
  • Technical phone support
  • Occasional onsite commissioning of electrical control systems.

Majority of work is in the water treatment industry, with systems such as RO, UF, UV, oily water separation, etc

An exciting opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician with exposure to a wide range of industrial automation applications.

Please note this role is based in Bendigo, VIC. Candidates may need to relocate if not within reasonable commuting distance.

Production Fitter

We are seeking dynamic & motivated individuals to join our production team, to perform mechanical/electrical assembly and light fabrication work on electrical switchboards.

No electrical experience required.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Experience with hand and power tools, e.g. drills, grinders, saws
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic – ability to maintain a fast and consistent pace
  • Light fabrication & basic welding skills an advantage
  • Experience in factory environment an advantage.
  • All tools and training provided.

Tasks will include:

  • Assembly of sheetmetal cabinets after powdercoating
  • Fitting of chassis, doors, brackets, bus bars etc
  • Preparing cabinets for powdercoating
  • Assembly of switchgear onto geartrays ready for wiring
  • Basic electrical wiring and assembly
  • Modifying cabinets and fitting switchgear and labels
  • Light fabrication tasks in aluminum, stainless, mild steel and perspex
  • Various sundry production tasks such as building pallets and crates, continuous improvement projects, etc
