Independent (non-government) and skilled Business Advisers can come to your business at no charge to do a detailed Business Evaluation and prepare a tailored Business Evaluation Action Plan. A typical evaluation is 40-60 pages, so provides a very detailed analysis of your business and further insight into your industry.
Strategies outlined in the Business Evaluation Action Plan can then be eligible to be funded by a Business Growth Grant (see below).
Even if you don’t decide to take advantage of the Business Growth Grant, the Business Evaluation (completely free) is excellent value.

Assists small businesses seeking to grow through exporting with loans of $50,000-$250,00, to cover up to 80% of your export contract or purchase order.
To be eligible, you need to have an annual turnover of $250,000 – $5 million per year, been established for at least 2 years and have exported within the last 12 months.

Small Business Grants provides small business owners in NSW who don’t pay payroll tax a payment of $2,000 for each new full-time position employed in your business.
A one-off payment of up to $2,000 is available for each new full-time position in your business. You will need to apply online for the grant once the new employee commences and then you can claim the grant once the position has been in place for 12 months.

Jobs Action Plan provides businesses operating in NSW with a $6,000 payroll tax rebate to employ new workers in new eligible employment.
The rebate of $6,000 for new jobs created after 31 July 2016 is available. The rebate is paid in 2 parts up to $2,000 on the first anniversary and up to $4,000 on the second anniversary.
The application for the rebate is made within 90 days of the eligible employee’s start date.
